Die AG Diagnostic Stewardship beschäftigt sich interdisziplinär mit der Problemanalyse von präanalytischen Prozessen und der Erarbeitung von Lösungsansätzen. Das übergeordnete Ziel ist eine verbesserte Infektionsdiagnostik, die durch eine Optimierung von Arbeitsabläufen, eine Vereinfachung von Prozessen und eine effizientere Kommunikation zwischen klinisch beteiligten Berufsgruppen und Laboren erreicht werden soll.
Aktuelle Projekte:
Diagnostik Stewardship in der Blutkulturdiagnostik: semiquantitative Interviews deutschlandweit in Krankenhäusern unterschiedlichen Level zur Qualität und Rahmenbedingungen des Blutkultur-Managements, um die Versorgungsrealität zu erfassen.

Interdisziplinäre nationale Erhebung zu Diagnostic Stewardship – eine Analyse (zusammen mit Prof. Dr. Martin Siegel, Fachgebiet Empirische Gesundheitsökonomie an der Technischen Universität Berlin)

The Working Group on Diagnostic Stewardship is an interdisciplinary consortium investigating the potential to optimize pre-analytical processes in the diagnostic procedures for infectious diseases. The overarching aim is to achieve a better accuracy of diagnostics through improved workflows, simplified procedures and an improved efficiency of in the communication between healthcare workers and laboratory staff.
Current project(s):
Diagnostic Stewardship in Blood Culture Diagnostics: Semi-quantitative interviews conducted at hospitals of various levels across Germany on the quality and framework conditions of blood culture management, with the aim of assessing the reality of care delivery.
